Project Brief
For this short introductory assignment, you will create a digital photographic collage illustration that could as the primary visual illustration for an online editorial article of your choice. An editorial article, often simply referred to as an editorial, is a piece of writing that expresses the opinion of the publication's editorial board or a specific editor/author on a particular issue, topic, or event. Unlike news articles, which are meant to be objective and report facts, editorials are subjective and are intended to persuade, inform, or provoke thought among readers.
Using a minimum of five distinct images, utilize Photoshop to create a digital photographic collage which could serve as the primary illustration for your article. Ensure each collage unifies the visuals around a cohesive theme, effectively conveying a related concept while enhancing and supporting the tone of your article. Your design should demonstrate key graphic design principles such as harmony, grouping, placement, emphasis, and flow, resulting in a cohesive composition that powerfully communicates your intended message.
