Laurie Eisenbach

Laurie Eisenbach is an Instructor of Graphic and Interactive design at Maryville University in St. Louis. She teaches typography, grid and typographic systems, publication, identity/branding and Capstone. Laurie was a founding member of the St. Louis Chapter of the AIGA, served on the board and with Sarah Birdsall assisted in seeing the St. Louis AIGA St. Louis Regional Student Conference get launched. She was a faculty sponsor of the Washington University AIGA Student group and has been the faculty sponsor for the Maryville University student group for the past 15 years. She has recently re-joined the St. Louis AIGA Board as a Co-Chair of Education. She also taught at Washington University in St. Louis in Visual Communications for 11 years.
She’s provided Pro-Bono design and illustration for the AIGA St. Louis, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Junior League of St. Louis, Maryville University, The National Kidney Foundation, Laumeier Sculpture Park, The St. Louis Teacher’s Recycle Center, The United Way St. Louis and The Webster Groves MO School District.
Laurie has been honored by IABC St. Louis, Mohawk Paper Mills, Saint Louis Advertising Federation, Art Director’s Club of Tulsa/Oklahoma City, Broadcast Designer’s Association Awards, New York, and The Art Director’s Club of Tulsa.
