I am a designer and educator currently based in Boca Raton, Florida. I am an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Florida Atlantic University where I teach undergraduate courses on typography, interactive design, information design, and visual identity systems. I am also the graduate coordinator of our MFA in Graphic Design. I have a five-year degree in Industrial Design from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia) and an MFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design. I worked as an in-house designer in Bogotá and for a branding and design firm in Boston, MA. My research interests include interdisciplinary approaches to design education and the intersection of graphic design and the humanities in academia.
